K2 and Gondogoro La Trek

Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan•20-25 Days•June - August
Expedition Synopsis

Overview & Mountain Character

“The ultimate Karakoram loop trek, combining the journey to K2 Base Camp with an exhilarating alpine crossing of the Gondogoro La Pass.”

Embarking from Askole, this demanding circuit follows the Baltoro Glacier directly to Concordia and K2 Base Camp before navigating the technical glaciated pass of Gondogoro La (5,128m) into the lush Hushe Valley. The traverse delivers breathtaking sights of K2, Broad Peak, the Gasherbrum summits, Masherbrum, Laila Peak, and Trango Towers across vast ice systems like the Baltoro and Vigne. Suited for experienced mountaineers with high cardiovascular endurance, this remains one of the world's most sought-after mountain circuits.
